This is a rodeo queen vest and horse serape. The two pieces were sponsored by Hagel's Glove and Tanning of Kalispell, Montana circa 1940 and made by Winona Hagel. Hagel's is a third generation business, still in operation today. The vest and serape show the card suits motif. The vest has a label that reads "Compliments of Hagel's Glove & Tanning Kalispell, Montana". The rodeo queen vest and serape are in good overall condition. One of the pockets on the vest is missing. The vest is approximately size small. The serape measures 19" x 86".
