<hr align=left size=5 width=33% color=#778899>(1900-1986). Russian-born American naval officer and engineer who presided over buildup of US nuclear-powered Navy. TLS “<i>H. G. Rickover</i>,” 1p, 4to, “<i>At Sea, North Atlantic</i>,” Sep 30, 1974. On USS<i> Glenard P. Lipscomb</i> letterhead to Congressman John Moss, a former WWII naval officer, commenting on a successful sea trial. Rickover provides a brief biographical sketch of the US Congressman after whom the ship was named, an overview of the latest equipment available on the ship and an update on the number of nuclear submarines of various classes now in the United States fleet, including nuclear attack, a deep submergence ocean engineering, and Polaris ballistic missile submarines. Light toning; o/w Fine. Rickover was the major proponent of the use of nuclear powered submarines for the US Navy, and went on trial runs with most of them.

11. All bidding is done in a competitive manner. The
winning bid will always be one bidding increment
over the second highest bid. The minimum
acceptable bid for any lot is 50% of the low
estimate given in the item description or $25,
whichever is higher.

12. Payment is expected immediately upon receipt of
invoice. All accounts are payable to Signature
House. Payment must be made in U.S. funds. Wire
transfer details are available upon request.
West Virginia residents will pay a sales tax of
6% unless a resale number is filed with us prior
to the closing date. For sales outside of the USA
a credit card is requested.

13. Shipment is made via U.S. Postal Service or
Airborne unless otherwise instructed. Handling,
shipping and insurance charges are added to the
invoice. Oversize and foreign shipments are subject
to increased charges. All items are shipped
immediately upon receipt of payment.

14. Golden Guarantee: All material is returnable within
seven days providing that it comes back in the same
condition. There is a lifetime guarantee on
authenticity to the original purchaser. The item(s)
must be returned with two letters denying it’s
authenticity by expert authenticators acceptable
