HUNTING & RACING PRINTS
An album of approximately 100 laid down engraved prints mostly of sporting or racing subjects, but with some political cartoons and some military prints. Half calf, cloth boards, worn. Most of the prints date from the late 18th century or early 19th century and many are hand coloured. The album may have been compiled by David Roberston of Ladykirk, M.P. for Berwickshire who was raised to the peerage as Lord Marjoribanks. He was a keen sportsman, a Derby winner and MFH of the Northumberland and North Durham Fox Hounds for a number of years.
