HSC: 1971 St. Louis Cardinals Signed Baseball PSA
1971 St. Louis Cardinals Team Signed Baseball Dating to Gibson's No-Hitter. The Hall of Fame right-hander Bob Gibson posted his first career no-hitter on August 14, 1971 against an unlikely foe: the eventual World Champion Pittsburgh Pirates. In celebration of the event, the team signed this ONL (Feeney) ball in 9+/10 blue ink, noting "No Hitter" in block lettering under Red Schoendienst's sweet spot signature. Other autographs: Gibson himself (whose name is underlined), Brock, Joe Torre, Ken Boyer, Sizemore, Carlton, Drabowsky and more. Twenty-four signature total. Ball shows some light toning and displays wonderfully. A high-grade team ball dating from what Gibson called "the greatest game I've ever pitched anywhere." LOA from Steve Grad & Zach Rullo/ PSA DNA.
