1966-90 Football Hall of Famers Signed Letters Lot of 8. Small archive of correspondence derives from the estate of noted football author George Sullivan, whose research for various publications resulted in this neat collection of typed signed letters. 1) 1966 Red Grange on personal letterhead. "Although I feel flattered by your request, I must decline the honor of being included in your book." 2) 1990 Tom Landry on personal letterhead. "You asked for the funniest story I can recall and I quote from my just published autobiography." 3) 1972 Roger Staubach on Cowboys letterhead. "I have signed a contract with a large publishing firm and will be writing a book with them in the near future." 4) 1973 Roger Staubach on Cowboys letterhead. "I appreciate your writing and although I haven't been able to contribute any help I would like to see a copy of the book." 5) 1968 Ken Strong handwritten on personal letterhead. "Thanks very much for the autographed book. You did a fine job with it, and I hope you make a mint with it." 6) 1968 Ed Healey two-page handwritten letter. "I received "Football's All-Time Greats" and thanks heaps to you & Sullivan." 7) 1975 George McAfee on McAfee Oil Company, Inc. letterhead. "Simpson may surpass Jim Brown before he is through, but I personally like Brown." 8) 1975 Bill Dudley on personal letterhead. "O.J. doesn't necessarily break tackles per se in the same fashion but uses all the other tools, such as balance, turning his body, bursts of speed, etc." All autographs and the letters themselves are NRMT or better. LOA from Steve Grad & Zach Rullo/ PSA DNA.
