HSC: 1964 All-Star Game Multi-Signed Bat PSA/DNA
1964 All-Star Game Multi-Signed Bat. Bucking tradition, much to our delight, this All-Star piece was passed around both dugouts at Shea Stadium and remains one of the rare artifacts from the Midsummer Classic to boast autographs from both American and National League representatives. The medium is Baltimore Orioles first baseman Norm Siebern's game used bat, or actually half of it, as the signature model Hillerich & Bradsby O16 was sawed down the middle of its length before being autographed to ensure that all signatures would appear on one displayable side of the bat. The wise forethought paid real dividends, as the piece does display beautifully, offering twenty-five 10/10 black ink signatures including Mantle, Roberts, Brooks Robinson, Oliva, Killebrew, Hodges, Howard, Lopez, Richardson and Pepitone. LOA from Steve Grad & Zach Rullo/ PSA DNA.
