HSC: 1921-24 Jake Daubert Game Used Bat 1921-24 J
1921-24 Jake Daubert Game Used Bat. Daubert faced Babe Ruth in the 1916 World Series and the crooked White Sox in October of 1919, retiring after fifteen seasons with a lifetime average over .300. He was twice the League batting champion, beating out players like Wheat, Stengel and Wagner, and earned M.V.P. honors in 1913. This historic hardwood dates from late in this Dead Ball Era superstar's historic career, demonstrating fine, undamaged use with scattered spike and ball marks still readily visible. The signature model Hillerich & Bradsby bat measures thirty-five inches from stem to stern, and tips the scales at thirty-seven and a half ounces. One of just a tiny handful of Daubert bats known to the hobby, and likely the finest specimen of them all. SCD A7. LOA from Dan Knoll & Dave Bushing/ SCD Authentic.
