Buyers Premium of 15% will still apply to Absentee Bids. We will not be available for telephone bids. We must have this request by 2:00 pm Friday the 17th. We will not have staff available after this.

Due to Covid-19 there will be no preview for this auction. Our Auction Hall is closed to the public. If you wish more information on an item please email admin@switzersauction.com include your phone #. A member of our staff will contact you when they can have the item in their hand, and provide you with any further details you require. We will staff available to make phone calls Monday - Friday 10-2 EDT. We must have these requests in by Friday April 17th at 2:00pm. We will not have staff available after this time. Your credit card provided to us will be charged for your purchases on Apr 18th 2020 If we are shipping your products to you a second charge for shipping will occur once your product is ready to ship. A $25.00 non processing fee will be added to any credit cards that we can't process. Please ensure that we have the correct number, and expiry. Recurrent problem payers, may be banned from future sales.
We only receive the information given when you first sign up for the auction. If you update your credit card information you will need to call us at 1-800-694-2609 to give us the new information.
International buyers may be required to pay by "WIRE Transfer"
Accepted Payment Methods:
CANADA BIDDERS: All Firearms and Ammunition sales will require a valid P.A.L. to purchase. Firearm registration applies to all restricted and prohibited firearms purchased for Canadians except firearms classified as antique and non-restricted. All restricted and prohibited firearms will have their transfer started on sale day.
U.S. and INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS: Have sole responsibility for their purchases. Please check with your FFL and/or ATF regarding import of specific items.
Please note that we do not ship AMMUNITION to US or international buyers.
US Buyers will be charged a $50.00 administrative fee on all Firearms sales. This is to cover the cost of the required paperwork to export the items to you.
Storage fees of $5.00 per item per month will be charged on all items that we have not received paperwork for within 120 days of the sale. If you are unable to complete the required paperwork within 1 year your lots will be sold at the next auction. You will be charged a commission on the resale.

BUYERS PREMIUM & TAXES: All items purchased online are subject to a 15% buyers premium. Taxes in Canada are listed in 'Payment Instructions'. Item(s) purchased and shipped outside of Canada are not subject to taxes, however you may be responsible for customs or duty charges.

ADMINISTRATIVE FEES: As we are selling Firearms and Ammunition it is imperative that bidders/customers provide us their correct information. We require your full correct name as on your PAL, License #, Date of Birth, Mailing address that is associated with your PAL. Customers who fail to do so, or who need the paperwork restarted due to an error on their part will be charged an administrative fee of $25.00 per lot. TERMS & CONDITIONS: The highest bidder shall be the purchaser and the decision of the auctioneer relating to all matters is final. All sales are final and not subject to conditions. All merchandise is sold in an 'As Is' condition without recourse to the vendor. All goods advertised or displayed are subject to withdrawal prior to sale within the discretion of the auctioneer. The Auctioneers may reject a bid at their discretion without reason or explanation.
RESERVES: All items in this auction are sold unreserved. Consignors are not authorized to bid on their own items nor have someone bid on their behalf. We reserve the right to withdraw any items or bids by the offending consignor.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY:
Except as expressly provided above, all property is sold “As Is'. Switzer's Auction nor the Consignor makes any representation or warranty, express or implied, as to the title, merchantability, fitness or condition of the property or as to the correctness of description, genuineness, attribution, provenance or period of the property or as to whether the purchaser acquires any copyrights or other intellectual property rights in lots sold or as to whether a work of art is subject to the artist's moral rights or other residual rights of the artist. All Firearms and Ammunition are sold as Collector lots only. Fitness to fire or otherwise discharge the arm or ammunition is expressly denied by Switzer's Auction. A competent Gunsmith should be consulted before attempting to use or fire any Firearm or Ammunition. The Purchaser expressly acknowledges and agrees that in no event shall Switzer's Auction be liable for any damages including without limitation any compensatory, incidental or consequential damages.
