Spotswood, for the United Company of Booksellers, 1775FIRST IRISH EDITION?, pages 54, (2, epilogue), (1, adverts), (3, blank), 12mo, recent wrapper : a very good to nice copy, with leaves A2 to D6 printed on pale blue tinted paper. See Stratman 2390. The sheets were also issued with a titlepage omitting the printer’s name. The last copy we handled was bound with the end blank leaf but not the advert leaf and signatures C and D only were printed on the same pale blue paper.ALSO WITH THIS LOT: (1) JEPHSON ( Robert ). Pages (8), 64, 12mo, recent marbled paper wrapper : a very good copy. First or second Dublin edition : there was another of 1772 with eighteen booksellers in the imprint - the latter seems the more common.(5) CUMBERLAND ( Richard ). The Choleric Man. A comedy.
