Great looking example. A bowl of the same size, shape and color, but with incised design, is shown as Plate 34 in "Chinese Celadons and other Related Wares in Southeast Asia", the Southesat Asian Ceramics Society, 1979, Singapore. This example is of a very appealing light honey-brown color, glaze dripping down from the inner and outer rim and covering all but the inner base area, a small kiln edge separation as shown, and light fritting at the rim and some tiny interior glaze specks. Overall great "look" with light abd authentic use-wear on the interior. A nice example of minyao or "peoples ware" said to have been unearthed in Changsha. 11-12th C.
