By Mr. Archdeacon Parnel. Corrected by Mr. Pope"), 3 vols, large 12mo, contemporary calf, with labels, gilt : a strongly bound and very good to nice set. An attractive, unsophisticated copy of an uncommon Dublin printing.ALSO WITH THIS LOT: ADDISON ( Joseph ), et al. The Beauties of the Spectators, Tatlers, and Guardians. Corrected and digested under alphabetical heads. In two volumes. Dublin : Printed by James Williams, 1778. Pages (4), 344 : (4), 336, 2 vols, 12mo, contemporary speckled calf, gilt ruled spines, with red and black labels, gilt : a very little wear to the spines, but the bindings strong and otherwise in very good state. First published in 1753. All four Dublin printings are rare. This, the last Dublin printing of the 18C, is represented in ESTC by only six copies : L, D, Di, Dp : ZWTU (vol 1 only) and AuVMOU – no copies in N.
