***Auction Highlight*** 1858 LL S-6 DDO TOP POP! Flying Eagle Cent 1c Graded ms65+ By SEGS. HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT - Up for Auction is a TOP POP and an Incredibly Rare Variety. It s the Elusive Snow-6 of the 1858 Large Letters LL Flying Eagle. Per the Snow Book, the Snow 6 “has only been seen a few times”, it and the Snow 8 both share the same Obverse Die, The Wildly Doubled Obverse Die with the heavily shifted Motto and Eagle. They have different reverses thought. The Scarce Snow 8 uses the old 1857 reverse with the High reverse Leaves, while the Snow 6 has the virtually unknown rare Low leaves die paring. Also per the Snow book, the finest known Snow 6 was an ms64, I say was, as this spectacular coin has come to us from a long held collection, only recently to have been certified as the Snow 6, and the single finest known Snow 6! I included a picture of the reverse to try and help you see the difference between low and high leaf or 1858 and 1857 varieties of the reverse die. Low is 1858 reverse, high is 1857 reverse. As a side note, generally the 1857 reverse is overall more scarce than the reverse of 1858 on the 1858 LL, but not in the case of the pairing with the DDO Die. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation
