***Auction Highlight*** 1796 No Pole C-1 Liberty Cap half cent 1/2c Graded vf25 details By SEGS. HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT - Up for Auction is one of the Rarest Coins we have EVER Brought to Auction. The Legendary 1796 NO POLE Half Cent. This coin is so rare that in AG2 it Trends $22,000, in g4 it trends $50,000, in vg8 it trends $80,000, in f12 it Trends $150,000 and in vf20 it trends $200,000. There are only 29 recorded examples in existence. In the past 25 years only 4 Auction records in ALL AUCTION are found, A single vg10 which realized $66,000 in 2020, a F-12 that realized $126,500 in 2010, a F-15 that realized $47,150 in 2000 and the f-15+ that realized $345,000 in the Goldberg sale. I will note the Goldberg example was a raw coin!. No other public sales have ever been recorded. This is Far and Away the rarest coin we have ever offered. I am including a picture of the f15+. Please note the detail still in the hair by the forehead on our coin, hence the vf details grade. The 1796 No Pole, besides not having a pole, can instantaneously be recognized by the large bisecting crack on the obverse. I wish you luck in becoming one of the few who can claim to have ever owned a 1796 no pole. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation
