CITATION SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 22 LR. S# 1907312. Bbl. 5 1/2". Model 106 Military Supermatic Citation semi-automatic pistol mfg. by High Standard. Left side of the bbl. is marked with the cal. designation, with High Standard's mfg. information marked on the right, and "EL" stamped on the underside, forward of the frame. Left side of the frame is marked "SUPERMATIC/ CITATION", with the model designation and S# marked on the right. Left side of slide is marked "-HIGH-/ STANDARD", with the S# marked on the top. Metal components exhibit a dual tone blue finish overall, save for on the trigger and mag. release, which are case colored. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood thumbrest grips. Frame features heavily textured panels on the front and rear grip straps. Bbl. features a grooved matte rib and 3 holes with plug screws on the underside for weight attachment. Ramped blade front sight with adj. square notch rear sight. Slide matches the frame via the full S#. MAGS: 1 10-rd. with "HIGH STANDARD" marked red synthetic extension on floorplate. CONDITION: near excellent, with metal components retaining the vast majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some superficial handling marks and a few small spots of light surface oxidation. Sideplate on left side of frame exhibits some light pitting that has been cleaned at one time, showing through to gray patina. Trigger and mag. release retain the majority of their original case colored finish, with the right half of the mag. release having faded to a mostly gray patina. Mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show a few small marks from handling and storage, but are otherwise very good overall. (25-5058/MLW).
