COMBO WITH ZEISS SCOPE AND SUB CALIBER TUBE. Cal. 16 Ga., 2 3/4" / 7x65R. S# 69582. The 25" monobloc bbls. fitted with full length solid matted rib have flip up U-notch rear and gold sourdough bead front sights. Claw scope bases are fitted. Bottom of monobloc is stamped with May 1970 Ulm Nitro proofs for 16 Ga., 2 3/4" / 7x65R rifle cartridge. Left side of rear lump is stamped "KRIEGHOFF" "ULM". Coin finished double Kirsten blitz o/u action features non-automatic safety, pin cocking indicators, and double triggers (both set). Action is engraved with sprays of scroll within small scroll borders which surrounds game scenes on sides. Roebuck running through open woodland is on left and prowling fox is on right. Aluminum trigger plate is engraved "KRIEGHOFF-TECK". Trigger guard is of black nylon. Capped pistol grip buttstock of plain European walnut has dark red finish as used by Krieghoff at that time and measures 13 7/8" over ribbed horn detachable buttplate with cartridge magazine underneath with space for 22 RF sub caliber tube which is currently installed in top bbl. Stock features hogback comb, shadowline right hand cheekpiece and multipoint pattern checkering at grip. Matching slim forend has Deeley release. Rifle is fitted with sling loops. Rifle is fitted with Zeiss "DIAVARI" 1.5-6x rail scope with three post reticle in claw mounts (rear with windage adj.). MEASUREMENTS: SHOTGUN BBL: Bore Diameter: .668". Restriction: .028 (IMOD). Min. Wall Thickness: .032". STOCK: DAH: 2 3/4". DA Rear of Hogback: 1 7/8". DAC: 1 5/8". LOP: 13 7/8" CAST: neutral. WEIGHT (without scope): 7 lb. 2 oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: comes with black plastic case. CONDITION: exceptionally fine, appears close to "new" with evidence of very limited firing and only a few scattered handling marks in metal and wood finishes. Wood finish shows light overall checking and an area of lifting on left side of comb. All bores are bright and shiny including sub caliber insert. Action is very tight, mechanically crisp. Scope is also very fine, with only one or two minor marks in exterior lacquer. Optically clear. (22-4951/MGM). CURIO. $2,000-3,000.
