DRILLING WITH KAHLES SCOPE. Cal. 16 Ga., 2 3/4" / 5.6x57 R. S# 52014. The 25" bbls. are fitted with claw scope bases, pop up U-notch rear and silver bead front sights on full length matted rib marked "FRIEDRICH WILH HEYM". Bottoms of bbls. are stamped with January, 2011 German Nitro proofs for 16 Ga., 2 3/4" & 5.6x57 R cartridges. Coin finished pinless sidelock action with blued rifle cocking slide on top tang has safety on top right of action. Action also features pin cocking indicators, crossbolt 3rd fastener and double triggers (front set). Action is engraved with attractively cut shaded scroll in corners as accent to small scroll borders. Bottom of action is engraved "FR. WILH. HEYM". Top lever and trigger guard are blued. Capped pistol grip buttstock of attractively flame figured dark European walnut measures 14 1/4" over ribbed hard rubber buttplate. Stock features shadowline right hand cheekpiece, point pattern grip checkering, hard rubber grip cap and sling loop matching that soldered to bottom bbl. Matching full forend with schnabeled tip has Deeley release. Drilling is fitted with Kahles Helia-L 3-12X 30mm scope with crosshair & three post reticle in screwed on mounts, rear with windage. MEASUREMENTS: SHOTGUN BBLS: Bore Diameter: R .664", L .664". Restriction: R .010" (IC), L .026" (MOD). Min. Wall Thickness: R .037", L .036". STOCK: DAH: 2 9/16". DAC: 1 1/2". LOP: 14 1/4". CAST: neutral. WEIGHT WITHOUT SCOPE: 8 lb. 9 oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: black plastic case. CONDITION: exceptionally fine, bbls. retaining 85-90% original blue with some loss on left side from rubbing while being carried slung. Action and lockplates retain nearly all of their bright coin finish with some minor spotting. Stocks retain nearly all of their original oil finish with a considerable amount of medium to light marks, mostly on right side of butt. Bores are bright and shiny. Action is tight. Mechanically good. Scope shows considerable wear on objective bell from being carried slung and with some scratches and marks. Optically clear.
