HEPPLEWHITE POLE SCREEN WITH PAINTED DECORATION. Cherry with an old finish and painted gold, black, and red trim. Delicate cabriole legs with snake feet and a small urn shaped base. Octagonal column is slotted for the adjustable oval screen and is topped with a ball finial. Pieced restoration and glued splits in the screen. 49 1/2"h.
