HEPPLEWHITE FOUR-DRAWER CHEST. Attributed to the Union Village Shakers. Walnut with mellow refinishing and evidence of an old red. Poplar secondary wood. French feet with fine scalloping on the aprons. Four dovetailed drawers have beaded edges and old replaced walnut pulls. Solid endboards have thin strips down the front edges to cover the dovetails of the dust shelves. One-board top with a thin applied edge molding. Drawer glides are restored otherwise very clean.
