<hr align=left size=5 width=33% color=#778899>(1886-1950). Commanding general of the US Army Air Corps in World War II who long, and successfully, advocated a separate air force ranking equally with the Army and the Navy. One of a select group to achieve “Five Star General” rank. Offered are four artifacts donated by Arnold to the Navy Relief Fund Auction II, designated Lot 756. Included are his Command Pilot’s wings; a small Air Corps device, being a silver propeller with gold wings attached; and two colorful Army Air Corps gold bullion patches. Handsomely double-matted beside donor card boldly signed “<i>H H Arnold</i>” and a color 7½"x9¼" portrait of the general in uniform wearing three of the artifacts. Contained under glass within simple oak frame. Overall 28½"x17". Impressive ensemble.

11. All bidding is done in a competitive manner. The
winning bid will always be one bidding increment
over the second highest bid. The minimum
acceptable bid for any lot is 50% of the low
estimate given in the item description or $25,
whichever is higher.

12. Payment is expected immediately upon receipt of
invoice. All accounts are payable to Signature
House. Payment must be made in U.S. funds. Wire
transfer details are available upon request.
West Virginia residents will pay a sales tax of
6% unless a resale number is filed with us prior
to the closing date. For sales outside of the USA
a credit card is requested.

13. Shipment is made via U.S. Postal Service or
Airborne unless otherwise instructed. Handling,
shipping and insurance charges are added to the
invoice. Oversize and foreign shipments are subject
to increased charges. All items are shipped
immediately upon receipt of payment.

14. Golden Guarantee: All material is returnable within
seven days providing that it comes back in the same
condition. There is a lifetime guarantee on
authenticity to the original purchaser. The item(s)
must be returned with two letters denying it’s
authenticity by expert authenticators acceptable
