THE ERNST ZSCHIESCHE
FLYING-TOURBILLON WATCH FROM THE DEUTSCHE
UHRMACHERSCHULE
Ernst Zschiesche was born in 1906 in Mühlheim an der Ruhr, where his parents ran a watch store.
He started studying at
the watchmaking school, Glashütte in 1926,
where he manufactured
the present Tourbillon

diploma in 1927.
After having been adjusted by Alfred Helwig, the present watch was submitted in 1932 to a timing contest at the Deutsche Seewarte in Hamburg where it successfully passed with excellent results.
Ernst Zschiesche worked
in various cities until returning to Mühlheim where he took over his parents' business.
He passed away in 1973.
