The #1540 Lariat Pattern was first made by the A. H. Heisey Glass Co. of Newark, OH circa 1948. This stem is the sherbet cut with the Heisey cutting called #980 Moonglow. The moons are clear white the balance of the cutting is frosted. This sherbet or saucer champagne is 3-3/4" tall, 4" in diameter and the applied foot is 3" in diameter. This glass is marked with the Dianond H trade mark just under the bowl and above the loop. There are no chips, flakes or cracks in this beautiful glass.
