<B>HB-96 EP-12 1¢ Dougan Choice About New.</B></I> A fair amount of original color remains behind the hat and among the letters. This piece is a very beautiful example of the only merchant that bears an illustration on the case. Roughly thirty examples are known for all denominations combined, with about ten of them of this One Cent denomination. The mica on this piece is clear and problem-free, with just a minor natural mark behind Franklin's head. The stamp, while not fully bright, remains attractive, and this piece has excellent eye appeal.
