<B>HB-165 EP-171 24¢ Kirkpatrick & Gault About New.</B></I> About 50% of the original silvering remains on the back of this most attractive 24¢ encasement. The mica is clear and undamaged, and the stamp has retained a fair amount of its original lilac color, unlike most 24¢ examples, which have faded to gray. The stamp is also beautifully centered, allowing the entire denomination to be read.
