Gault Extremely Fine.<BR>Numerical grade: 65case.80stamp.80mica = 225</B></I> The case has a strange manufacturing defect at its left, where it appears the metal was scored for cutting. It affects only the back portion and not the rim, and is clearly pre-production. Save for that defect, the dark, natural colored case is fully as nice as the exceptional stamp and mica. A common Thirty as a J. Gault, but a rare denomination. This piece was formerly Lot 1082 from the December 1969 Arnold Perl Collection sale, where it was referred to as, "Mica in excellent condition.
