<b>754A. WILLIAM HENRY HARRISION </b>(1773 - 1841) Ninth President of the United States, military hero at Tippecanoe Creek and against Tecumseh, died after one month in office. Important A.D.S. as 1p. 8 1/2" x 4", "<i>Head Quarters Greeneville</i>", July 10, 1795 ordering that "<i>The Commissary will issue to the Delawares twenty pounds o flour & beef- Wm H. Harrison Aid de Cam</i>p" The allocation of these supplies were very likely part of the ongoing treaty negotiations between the United States, represented by General Anthony Wayne, and twelve tribes including the Delaware, the Wayndots, Shawnee, Ottawa, Chippewa, Miami, Kikapoo among others. In the treaty, the Indians ceded much of the land which is now the state of Ohio. Margins irregular, usual folds, otherwise very good condition.<b> $800-1,200</b>
