HANCOCK-ENGLISH CAMPAIGN RIBBON, PIN AND BUTTON. Hancock Group Lot. A "Fritztown Hancock and English Club" (PA?) ribbon removed from a quilt, reinforced on back with black batting. Also, a ferrotype pin, 10.5mm., minor loss along edges as usually found, and the classic "Hancock and English" clothing button, metal loop intact. Winfield Scott (1824-86), Democratic candidate for President 1880, distinguished himself in the Civil War as a Major General for brilliant strategies at Gettysburg. A fine group.
