H.R.H. The Prince of Wales. Seven autograph letters signed (three on Highgrove House, one on St. James's Palace, one on Sandringham, Norfolk and one on Kensington Palace stationery), all addressed to Sergeant Lewis, mostly thanking him for help on foreign tours ("once again you were a star on this latest expedition") discussing Sgt. Lewis's health ("I long to send you some of Dr. Wales's patent "medicine" consisting of a large bottle of dark brown liquid which, when taken regularly in the prescribed dosage, steadies the nerves & induces a pleasant feeling") and 6 autograph notes or messages signed on headed white cards or memoranda, discussing foreign tours ("I can imagine how frustrating it must be for you... when the drivers of the luggage vans retire to their grass huts with the van's keys strapped to their loin cloths!"), and three autograph notes or messages initialled "C" discussing visits and delays to the arrival of mail ("Could you find out if they get stuck in the Post Office at B.P. or in the bomb-checking room?), with 16 envelopes addressed to Sergeant Lewis, initialled "C" in lower left corner £300-400
