English crime fiction writer (1926–2011) most notable for his series of novels featuring Inspector Ghote. Lengthy AQS signed at the conclusion, “H. R. F. Keating,” one page, 8.25 x 11.75, no date. Keating pens a lengthy excerpt from the first chapter of “Inspector Ghote Trusts the Heart.” In part: “Manibhai Desai’s right arm shot out in a stiffened gesture. The rigid forefinger was directed at the untidy little nest on the round glass-topped table.” In fine condition, with a central horizontal fold and scattered creases.
