Eminent British writer (1866–1946) who pioneered the science fiction genre with such classic novels as The Time Machine, War of the Worlds, and The Invisible Man. Vintage pencil signature, “H. G. Wells,” on a 4 x 3.25 trimmed card, signed by seven others, including John Galsworthy and Catherine Wells. In fine condition, with irregular bottom edge, a bit of light soiling, and Wells’s signature slightly overlapping portion of signature above. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
