ALS, one page, 4.5 x 7, Spade House letterhead, November 25, 1904. Letter to a gentleman. In full: “I regret very much that an engagement to dine on the 13th will prevent my hearing what would be for me an extremely interesting discussion.” In very good condition, with uniform block of toning over signature and text, and toning to each corner from old tape.
