Text edges untrimmed. Publisher's catalog at rear dated ''Autumn mdcccxcvii''. Front hinge tender after viii, but holding. Sunned spine, minor shelf wear and rubbing to the boards, with lightly bumped bottom corners. Text toned around the edges, but very clean internally. Pages 14 and 15 of the rear advertisements uncut at fore-edge.
