Yellow Label Cover, Queen Victoria, with Gwalior overprint, 1894, ½ Anna Blue-Green Cover, Sent from Mandasur to Pirawa, Yellow Label affixed, In & Out cancellations, Black round dispatch cancellation seal “MANDSAUR R.Y. STN. | 16 AP. 94” on the front and the back. Gwalior in both English and Devanagari along with its coat of arms is visible on the front. The content of the Yellow Label reads “Please return cover to postman for transmission to inspector Genl., R. M. S. in India”, 3 more seals at back, “J. 6. IN | SET. No4 | AP. 16”, “J. 6. OUT | SET. No 5 | AP 16”, & “PIRAWA | B. O. | 18 AP. | 94 | TONK”, yellow label has good margin at left, tiny paper is patched to secure both sides, good condition.
