Guy Deel Pulp Art Painting Entitled "Pecos" No. 23 Bantam Books Stagecoach Station Series. Depicting two Ladies and a Native American Indian. Pulp artist Guy Deel (1933-2005) was a master illustrator of Western Art and this image was for a Western novel cover. Mixed media on board. Image measures 24 X 16 inches. He was commissioned to paint the 140 foot x 10 foot mural at the Gene Autry Museum in Los Angeles, California and in fact was a good friend of Gene Autry. From 1950 to 1979, he painted over 250 paintings.
