<B>Guttenberg, NJ</B></I> - $10 1902 Red Seal Fr. 615 <B>The First NB</B></I> Ch. # (E)8390<BR> Tom obtained this note from our May, 2004 Central States sale, where it was described as "A beautiful Red Seal which has been off the market since its last appearance as lot 528 in the celebrated Herman Halpern collection sale of March, 1993. It was described there as "Choice Uncirculated, with good margins and signatures," certainly a conservative description, as the note has better color and more eye appeal than most notes we've seen graded as gem in the past decade. We will stick with tradition here and label this lovely Red Seal as <B>Very Choice Crisp Uncirculated,</B></I> knowing that this is an item certain to delight its fortunate new owner."
