Two TLSs, one in English, the other in German, both one page, 6.5 x 8.5, personal letterhead. The English letter, dated October 21, 1930, addressed to Mr. de Kay, in part: "Referring to my letter in date of yesterday, I regret to have to inform you that owing to unforeseen circumstances, I do not see any possibility of following up the ideas and plans about which you spoke to me. In consequence, I informed Mr. Bamberger not to undertake the projected voyage to Salzburg." The German letter, November 14, 1930, addressed to Baron Cramer-Klett, in part (translated): "I send you an affidavit, but again with the request that the contents be regarded as intended only for your strictly confidential and personal information. Excerpt from a letter which has just been sent to me by my brother-in-law, Freiherr von Wilmowsky. Under these circumstances, I will have to decide to refrain from pursuing the whole matter, which you will understand." In overall fine condition.
