Boxer (1915–1964) who held the world light heavyweight title from 1941 to 1948. Vintage 6.5 x 8.5 matte-finish photo, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To Dick. Remember M Remember E. Put them together and Remember me. To A Swell Guy Dick, Good Luck, Gus Lesnevich. L. H. W. Champ May 11, 1946.” In fine condition, with light bend, scattered silvering to the darker areas, and fair contrast to some of the words against their dark background.
