Kumaragupta I, Gold Dinar, 8.07g, ‘Archer' type, Obv: The king standing to left in Tri-bhanga position wearing a long coat, ear-rings, necklace and holding a bow in his left hand and holding an arrow in his right hand, a Garuda-Standard behind, garuda sits on a beaded staff, and Brahmi legend ‘Ku' above crescent in the right field and around traces of Brahmi legend, Rev: Goddess Lakshmi seated on a lotus cross-legged with halo, holding a lotus with a big stalk and that is coming up near her left shoulder and making an offering of coins with her right hand, tamgha (like a srivatsa) on upper left field and Brahmi legend ‘Shri Mahendra' in the right field.
