The painting in mixed media was created in 1997 by Gunter Reski. Seen from underneath, a Person is sitting on a bench that is illuminated by two street lights. As if the ground was a glass pane, with the viewer lying underneath it, the artist has chosen an unusual perspective.



The Painting is in a very good condition, showing only minimal traces of creasing at the corners. It is signed and dated on the back ‘Reski ‘97’. The overall dimensions are 75 x 98 cm.



Gunter Reski (geb. 1963)

Gunter Reski was born 1963 in Bochum. He studied Fine Art from 1986-1992 at the ‚Hochschule für Bildenden Künste’ in Hamburg under Gotthard Graubner. In 1996 he received the scholarship of the Kulturbeho¨rde and taught at universities in Hamburg, Oslo and in Berlin. This year, Gunter Reski was awarded with the Edwin-Scharff-Prize from the Senate of Hamburg.
