Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) - Starlord (Chris Pratt) Walkman (Unused).
This is an unused/unconverted Walkman bought by the production but ultimately not used.
This is an original Walkman purchased for use in the first movie. They’re collectors pieces in their own right and originally came in a leather pouch with no clip on the reverse of the actual machine. Production would purchase originals and then build customized clips on the backs for attaching to Starlord’s belt. This came from the production but was yet to be converted for use on screen.
From the production of the superhero film 'Guardians of the Galaxy' (2014), where a group of intergalactic criminals must pull together to stop a fanatical warrior with plans to purge the universe. The film was directed by James Gunn, who wrote the screenplay with Nicole Perlman, and features an ensemble cast including Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, and Bradley Cooperas the titular Guardians, along with Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close, and Benicio del Toro.
