Vintage matte-finish 8.25 x 11 Underwood and Underwood photo of an older Cleveland behind his desk, signed and inscribed in the lower border in fountain pen “Grover Cleveland to Bayard Stockton, Jan 28, 1906.” Matted and framed to an overall size of 12.5 x 15.25. A few scattered light creases, as well as scattered light silvering to darker portions of image, otherwise fine condition. The consignor notes that this item originates from the estate of the late Senator Thomas Eagleton. A distinguished image, scarce in oversized examples.
