<B>Grover Cleveland, </B></I><B><I>Presidential Problems</B></I></B></I><B> with Signed Card</B></I> (New York: The Century Co., 1904) first edition, 281 pages, untrimmed edges, burgundy-cloth binding with gold lettering, 8vo (8.5” x 5.5”). This memoir was published in 1904, seven years after Cleveland’s second (nonconsecutive) term as President. That same year, conservative Democrats attempted to nominate him for a third term, but his poor health prevented him from accepting. Cleveland died in 1908. A 2.5” x 3.5” card, signed and dated <I>“Grover Cleveland / Oct. 16, 1907”</B></I> has been attached to the front endpaper with mylar corners.
