<B>Grover Cleveland Autograph Letter Signed as President</B></I> “<I>Grover Cleveland</B></I>”. One page, 4.5” x 7”, on Executive Mansion letterhead, Washington, January 10, 1897, to Daniel S. Lamont, Secretary of War. A short note from Cleveland which reads in full: “<I>My dear Colonel I ought not to go this morning but would be glad if you would go and take the others with you. Yours sincerely Grover Cleveland</B></I>”. Included with Cleveland's letter is the original envelope addressed to Lamont. With the usual fold creases, else fine. <I>From the collection of Henry E.
