<B>Grover Cleveland Autograph Letter Signed as Governor of New York</B></I> “<I>Grover Cleveland</B></I>”. One page, 4.5” x 7”, on Executive Mansion letterhead, Albany, July 14, 1884, to a “<I>Miss Wheeler</B></I>”. Cleveland writes in part: “<I>Thank you for your kind remembrance of me and your hearty congratulations…I cannot fail to call to mind anther good friend, who would have rejoiced, if she had lived to see my honorable preferments</B></I>.” The paper has slightly toned and the letter has the usual fold creases, else a fine letter dating from just before Cleveland’s first term as President of the United States. <I>Ex.
