1) Black lacquer saya, with deeply cut flowers and fu dogs on the silver fittings, gold accents and a white silk cord, with a wood tsunagi (20 1/4 inch blade). 2) Hardwood saya for a diamond profile (moroha) blade, adorned with gold lacquer insect/sipder themes, as well as an 8 figure golden signature at the bottom. 3) Four kagatana hilts, 3 3/4 inches long each, with raised decorative inlays in a mixture of materials, including gold, silver and bronze. 4) Bronze fuchi with expertly darkened and beaded outer edge. 5) Iron tsuba, 4-lobed, with gold, silver and bronze inlaid and engraved scene of a man and woman with brooms standing underneath a tree while a crane flies overhead. 6) Oval soft metal tsuba, with gold and sillver accented scene of a ho-oh bird in flight over a tree in bloom.

1) Very good, with light handling marks. 2) The halves have detached, and a small crack is visible on one side of the throat, otherwise very good. 3) One of the handles is dented, otherwise good overall with light handling marks. 4) Excellent, with minimal handling marks. 5) Fair with a brown patina on the iron, mild spotting, and good color on the inlay. 6) Excellent with minimal handling marks and attractive color.
