1) Contemporary steel shield. 4 brass floral bosses surround a large rounded central brass spike with a pierced base and 4 Fleur-de-Lis decorative elements. There are brass rivets around the outside rolled edge. There is a swiveling steel arm loop and a fixed steel grasping loop welded to the backside. Good. 2) Contemporary Chinese bronze knife with each side engraved with a flying dragon. A cloud design is present on one side and 8 untranslated symbols on the reverse. Additional engraving is present on the hilt. Fine. 3) Folding blade kama. Engraved and punched decoration with brass inlays terminating in a brass collared carved bone handle. Very good. 4) Early 20th century theatrical copy of an Indo-Persian Khula Khud. There are chiseled decorations highlighted in gold. There are two plume holders on the front along with a sliding nasal guard. There is butted link mail attached to small holes around the perimeter of the bowl. At the top of the bowl is a funnel shaped projection with a spike protruding 6 1/2" from the bowl. Good. 5) Double bladed Katar measuring 16 1/2" overall, with a pair of 10 1/2" long serrated blades, mounted to a synthetic handle with scroll decoration. Very good. 6) Phillippine barong bolo measuring 25 1/2" overall, with a 19" leaf shaped blade, engraved with a loose scroll design on the right and a flying dragon on the left. Smooth hardwood grip, with alternating metal and twisted cord bands and carved accents on the pommel. With a hardwood scabbard, adorned on the right side of the throat with mother of pearl panels surrounding scroll carved contrasting hardwood. Very fine. 7) Indo-Persian axe, 15" overall, with a top spike, 2 3/8" axe blade, and a 4" bill hook on an octagonal shaft. Koftgari-style silver decoration, with floral, geometric, and scroll decorations. Fine. 8) Silver hilted dagger, 11 1/2" overall. Double edged single fuller spear point blade, 7 1/8" long, with 3 pierced-through holes and an engraved "H" brass inlay on the ricasso. Silver hilt with light engraving, raised floral designs, and a multi-lobed pommel. Silver scabbard with floral engraving, a carved fish shaped frog hook and "Eigg" inscribed on the rear. Very good.
