Group of Three Good Antique Bits
Property being sold is not new! Dents, dings, scratches and other damage may be present—and is common—on used and vintage items. Items are available for preview well in advance of the auction and we take several pictures as well. Please inspect thoroughly PRIOR to bidding. Once auctioneer says “SOLD” Buyer assumes all responsibility for items.
For sale in this lot is a nice little group of three antique bits. These silver and copper mounted bits have hand stamped designs and one of the looks like it could be a McChesney. The one with heart inlays is marked with the early Buermann Star mark. These would make a great addition to your collection.  Maker: Unmarked. Approx. Age: Vintage. Size: Mouth is 5 inches. Shanks are 5-1/2 - 6 inches. Condition: Good for their ages, normal wear expected. Please look closely at the pictures - they are an important part of our description. Shipping: There will be a $10 handling / packaging fee for shipping this lot. The actual cost of postage will be added on top of that. BUY IT NOW: If you would like to buy this item now without waiting for the auction to end (this option is only available up to 48 hours before the auction starts to close), the “Buy it Now” price is the high estimate of this lot. If you would like to end the auction early and pay the high estimate (plus applicable fees), please contact us by phone or email and reference this lot number.
