Group of Four Satirical Hitler Items
Group of Four Satirical Hitler Items. 1). Yellow porcelain tobacco pipe with Hitler's face on bowl. It measures 5" from the gray mouthpiece to the tip of Hitler's nose. "HITLER" etched in along right side of the pipe stem. Circa 1940s, with some minimal wear throughout but still shows a great deal of character. 2). Small white porcelain Hitler demitasse cup. On the outside of the cup are painted the words "Chums, What Would You Do?". Bottom of the cup shows a sad Hitler, with the words "Hitler in Poland" underneath. Stamped "Made in England" on the base. Crazing present throughout, and some discoloration on the handle, but otherwise very good. 3). Porcelain skunk folk-art piece with Hitler's face measures 2" wide x 4.75" long x 4.5" tall from the bottom of the feet to the top of the tail. Painted on the tail in silver paint are the words "Japan's Rising Sun". Underneath, in the rear area is a satirical representation of the Japanese sun with odor lines emanating from it. The message here is clear and simple: the Axis powers are one big smelly varmint ready to spray the world with their stink. The skunk is in very good condition, with very minor wear to the top and tail 4). Hitler painted plaster statuette with pin cushion posterior measures 4.5" tall on a base of 1.5" diameter. Statuette's posterior has a tightly packed swad of padded brown fabric glued down to act as a pin cushion. Etched into the base is "Pat. Pen. 1941-CPE." Figure is in fine condition with no noticeable paint loss. A humorous piece of history among a group of fascinating Hitler-related satirical pieces.

Shipping: Miscellaneous Collectibles, Larg (view shipping information)
