Five issued Colorado mining stocks. 1) Geyser Silver Mining Company, cert. #409, issued in 1908. Inc. in South Dakota. The company operated at Silver Cliff, Custer County, CO ( EMJ, 1909). Extensive exploration work was being done at the 1400' and 1850' levels, and a 40 ton mill was being built in 1909. O.W. Murphy as the manager. Wear at top edge. U/C. 2) The Bachelor-Khedive Mines Company, cert. #20, issued in 1922 for 1 share. The company had eleven claims at Ouray, Colorado and was a silver producer. Stamp cancelled. Part of stub attached at left. 3) The Mineral Point Mining and Milling Company, cert. #106, issued at Omaha, Neb. in 1900 for 600 shares. Three revenue stamps at top left. The company operated in the Pine Creek District, Gilpin County, Colorado. U/C. 4) The Stem-Winder Mining and Leasing Company, cert. #89, issued in 1906 for 100 shares. The company operated at Dumont, Clear Creek County, Colorado. U/C. 5) The Bankers Gold Mining and Milling Company, cert. #92, issued in 1897 for 2000 shares. Inc. in Kansas. Offices in Denver.
