Very nice group of drawings. Total of 11. Depicting various frontier scenes, including violence against Native Women, Retaliation by the Indians against prairie Women, Drum Circles, Frontier scenes, and one that appears to be of a Missionary. Fantastic group of images. Purchased by Dick Flood in Montana. Kept in an original Trailside Galleries envelope, with pencil notation on the outer flap: "received from Fred Peeso of Libby Montana 1959 / Indian drawings 1913 to 1915, received from the owner of the Indian Trading Post at Hot Springs Montana. The Cree Indian who made these was about 67 years at that time, this is all Fred could tell me. DICK FLOOD".
