<B>Group of 4 Patriotic WWII Posters.</B></I> A wonderful group of colorful and in some cases poignant patriotic posters. Perhaps the most evocative of the group is a poster entitled "<I>…because somebody talked!</B></I>", 14.25" x 20", Artist: Yegley, 1943, Office of War Information, fine with usual fold creases. This poster depicts the heart wrenching scene of the family dog resting his head on his dead master's navy uniform with the Gold Star flag in the background. Included is a wonderfully sinister poster titled "<I>Bits of Careless Talk Are Pieced Together by the Enemy</B></I>", 14.25" x 20", Artist: Stevan Dohanos, 1943, Office of War Information, in fine condition with the usual fold crease marks. Rounding out the lot are two home front posters for conservation.
